A1: As the sunsets, the night starts to darken

B: Seems as that a new day has started

A2: The darkness starts to take over the light of day.

A: Noticeable as the night takes over.

B: Seems to have started a new dark day.

A1: As the sunsets, the night starts to darken

A: As noticeable it is, the dark time has come.

B: Seems as a new beginning of a day has just begun.

A2: The sheet of murk starts to take over.

. A: How clearly can you see the sheet of dimness

B: Oh, how does the start of a new night day.

A1: As the sunsets, the night starts to darken

A: As much as you can see the darkness, it gets darker.

A2: Soon pitch darkness comes alive

A: Darkness, oh how you change the day

B: The day has newly begun.

A1: As the sunsets, the night starts to darken

A2: Now the darkness has covered everything.

I can see that he is using repetition. I feels as that he is trying to point something out in this poem. He seems that he is worn out of something and he wanted to tell people about what he was feeling in that moment.
